Well I finished...which at a couple points I didn't think was going to happen. Overall place was 7th in a time of 18:53. Race report will follow shortly. :0)
Good job Yassine. Way to gut it out. Sounds like it might not have been your ideal race, but I bet you still learned a lot along the way for next time.
Yassine- Great running with you those first few miles. Good to see you finished strong despite the few of us going without aid for 20miles. Let me know if you want to go for a run some time soon....I've got some blisters to heal first.
yassine...great to meet you on the trails and i was stoked to find your blog and see that you finished. well done! please give my regards to your wife as well. i enjoyed meeting her. rest up!
Well done Yassine. I met you at the hotel on friday, and saw you on the course near the Olallie meadows aid station when you were heading back. I look forward to your race report. It sounds like it was a tough race for you, as it was for me too. I hope you are recovering well.
Thanks guys! Steve: I'm getting tons of nourishment although I am told that my sleep consists of tossing, turning, and moaning. Hopefully that'll change soon. Derrick: I definitely learned a lot in my second 100...about myself...and the nature of the race. I'll take it w/ me to the next. Trevor: great meeting you and getting to know you. Let's definitely get together for a run sometime soon. I, too, have some healing to do...but stay in touch. Justin: It was also great meeting you briefly but the few words that you shared w/ me helped more than you can imagine. Erica also really enjoyed talking with you. I hope to be in touch...:0) Tell Tom I said good job!
