Happy Halloween from Ultra Man

Happy Halloween from Ultra Man!
(the coast seems to be clear)

(Stay safe on the trails my friends)

Todd J., Amy S., and Ultra Man ran 18 miles through Forest Park on a picture perfect Pacific Northwest autumn day.  I would say that 95% of the people were receptive to the costume, laughed, and/or commented.  The other 5% stepped aside and/or gave a look that said, "you fricken idiot!"

You are sure to win NF50 if you show up to starting line as "Ultra Man".

Nah, the other 5% were probably just too shocked for words. lol.

It would have totally made my day to see Ultra Man in his natural element. Awesome.

Did you guys race or just go down for a run/spectator role? I couldn't find you in the results again, but maybe it is your super power to run undetected??

Rob: Yes, the cape did give me an extra pep in my step...that may be an option...and I may need it in that uber-competitive race!

Mtnrunner2: good point!...and who knows...you may see Ultra Man blazing the trails in Colorado one of these days ;-)

Pam: We just went on a run in Forest Park...no racing...I'm racing next weekend down at Lithia Loop Trail Marathon in Ashland.

Too funny Yassine, my ribs are hurting. Great idea and costume. Thanks for brightening my day.
